UHPAM - Seed Fund

We are pleased to announce our new Seed Fund project UHPAM - Ultra High Performance Additive Manufacturing in Construction. We are looking forward to a successful cooperation with our project partner from material science ibac in the Faculty of Civil Engineering at RWTH Aachen University. Additive manufacturing by layered concrete extrusion is a common approach to the robot-controlled production of complex components. Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) has immense potential for the performance of the process. The use of UHPC in additive manufacturing is currently not possible due to the material properties and the demanding processing. The research is funded by the Excellence Initiative of the German federal and state governments
