KI for BauChain

This project aims to develop an A.I. network for construction sites, which is able to detect materials and objects automatically for documenting the construction progress. The core idea is to digitize construction processes in order to be able to collect data on the construction site and develop A.I. algorithms as the project specifications require. Collecting data means that even machines, RGB and IR-cameras and laserscanners for point cloud generation are involved. The gathered data represents the basis for creating a huge dataset of information for training the A.I. with. The A.I. will then be able to classify and categorize piles of material, their volume and weight estimation and so on.
